It is commonly said that students who are in school uniforms are saved from sexual abuse, rapes and so on. But to be hones, there are cases where these are also targeted. If you just have a look at the internet, you will get a lot of information on this. For instance, in countries like Great Britain and Japan, these incidents are quite common. Even if you just browse into sites, you will be surprised to find a lot of pornographic pictures of girl students who are in school uniforms . So, we cannot say that those with uniforms are not targeted for violence related to sex.

It is not true that it is only the way we dress add to our character. There are a lot of other factors also which are involved in framing of our character but of course the way we dress is just one of the means. We can say that school uniforms bring uniformity among students but we cannot blindly say that it helps in giving full security to the female students in the campus or outside it. Violence towards women happens everywhere, and for this indecent dressing can be one of the factors and even in uniforms you can be dressed indecently.
